Printivo UK is born out of a love for paper and ink, aiming to provide start-ups and SMEs with high-quality business and marketing materials. We are committed to using premium paper stocks that ensure your brand is represented with clarity, durability, and a professional finish.
2. Paper Variations and Weights
- Standardization: We offer a range of paper weights (measured in GSM - Grams per Square Metre) suitable for different products, from lightweight flyers to heavy-duty premium business cards.
- Batch Variation: You acknowledge that slight variations in paper color, texture, and brightness may occur between different production batches from our paper mills.
- Selection Responsibility: You are responsible for selecting the appropriate paper type and weight for your specific needs during the ordering process.
3. Finish and Coating
- Lamination: Where selected, we provide Matte or Gloss lamination to enhance the durability and aesthetic of the printed product.
- Absorbency: You acknowledge that different paper stocks (e.g., Uncoated vs. Silk) absorb ink differently, which may result in slight variations in color vibrancy.
4. Environmental and Ethical Sourcing
- Sustainable Forestry: In line with UK environmental standards, we strive to source our paper from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified suppliers or equivalent sustainable sources wherever possible.
- Recycled Options: We may offer recycled paper stocks which, by their nature, may contain small visible fibers or slight tonal variations.
5. Defective Materials and Replacements
- Defect Definition: A product is considered defective if the paper stock significantly differs from the specifications ordered or contains manufacturing flaws such as creases or tears.
- Inspection: If you believe the paper quality is defective, you must report this within three (3) working days of receipt.
- Resolution: Upon examination, if a material defect is confirmed, we will provide a reprint or a credit toward a new order at our discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
- External Factors: Printivo UK shall not be liable for changes to paper quality caused by improper storage by the customer, such as exposure to extreme humidity, heat, or direct sunlight.
- Provided Designs: We are not responsible for poor print results resulting from low-resolution files or inappropriate color profiles (RGB vs. CMYK) provided by the customer.
