Production timelines, delivery methods, charges, and what to do if something goes wrong.
1. Production and Estimated Delivery Timelines
Standard Turnaround: Most custom print orders require an average of 3 to 5 working days for production before they are dispatched for delivery.
Express Production:Certain products may be eligible for accelerated production for an additional fee, reducing the lead time to 24–48 hours.
Transit Times:
UK Mainland: Once dispatched, orders typically arrive within 24 to 48 hours depending on the service selected.
Northern Ireland, Highlands, and Islands: Please allow an additional 48 hours for transit to these locations.
Operating Hours: Working days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays.
2. Delivery Partners and Methods
Local Deliveries: For high-density urban areas or express local service, we utilize Printivo Direct Delivery.
National Shipping:Nationwide deliveries across the UK are processed via premium couriers, including DHLand Royal Mail, ensuring tracked and reliable service.
Signatures: All deliveries require a signature upon receipt. Printivo incurs no liability if a product is signed for by someone other than the intended recipient at the provided address.
3. Shipping Charges and VAT
Standard Rates: All print orders are exclusive of shipping costs unless a promotional “Free Shipping” offer is explicitly stated at checkout.
Calculation: Delivery charges are calculated dynamically based on the weight of the order and the destination postcode.
Value Added Tax (VAT): In accordance with UK law, a standard VAT rate (currently 20%) is applied to all products and shipping costs. This is remitted to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
4. International Shipping
Primary Focus: Currently, Printivo UK focuses on delivery within the United Kingdom.
Global Ordering: Customers may place orders from anywhere in the world, provided the final delivery address is located within the UK.
Future Expansion: We are constantly evaluating our logistics to include international shipping to Europe and North America in the near future.
5. Delivery Protection and Insurance
Transit Insurance: For your peace of mind, all Printivo UK shipments include complimentary insurance coverage against theft or accidental damage while in transit.
Risk and Title: Ownership and risk of the products pass to you immediately upon successful delivery to your specified address.
6. Returns and Non-Delivery
Return Window: We offer a 7-day return policy for eligible print items that are defective or do not match the approved proof.
Process: To initiate a return or request a reprint, the item must meet the specific conditions outlined in our comprehensive Return Policy.
Failure to Deliver: If an order fails to arrive, you must notify us within 30 days. If the delivery was unsuccessful due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, we reserve the right to apply an additional charge for re-despatch.
